CASE STUDY
HSBC Treasury APIs — payments and Banking-as-a-Service
Problem
Corporate treasury teams demand programmable access to cash management, liquidity, and payments rails inside a Tier-1 bank — without giving up the regulatory evidence layer the bank itself has to produce.
What I built
Led product and technology workstreams for HSBC's treasury APIs and Banking-as-a-Service programme inside the Commercial & Investment Bank, shipping production payment, balance, and liquidity APIs against the bank's regulatory perimeter. Worked across architecture, vendor integration, supervisory evidence, and the operational-resilience controls that DORA and SR 11-7 now mandate.
